Horde Command Pack

The Horde Command Pack brings upgrades for those who enjoy the Horde mode that will help provide some assistance in your fight against the Locust. This command center, which is described as a panic button of sorts is unlocked when the player has upgraded their turrets to the maximum level and it also can be upgraded. The command center starts at level one with snipers, the second level is mortar strikes, and finally call in multiple hammers of dawn. The next major update to horde mode is the upgraded decoy which will turn into a computer controlled Onyx Guard that will assist you in battle. The third update is the sentry is equipped with fire bolts to help weaken Beserkers. If you think that the sentry won’t be able to finish the job, then upgrade the Silverback to equip it with rockets to explode the Locust scum into bits.

Gears of War 3 is a game of limited resources; you won’t have enough ammo to simply waste those bullets and get to your hotshots. To gain an edge with the active reload follow these rules:
 1. Hold off on reloading for as long as possible- Drain that clip as much as you can. When you do reload, you’ll get more hotshots and have less cool ones to burn through before they fire.
2. Don’t reload until you have a target- That way you can start firing those hotshots before they cool.
3. Ace that freaking reload- If you’re going to run around with your guns nearly empty, you have to be ready for an active reload at anytime. Reloading in Gears is quick, and the boosted damage from acing it will more than make up for your slight delay in firing. However, if you bungle the reload, you will be meat.

Use the sniper is easier than you think in Gears of War 3Once you get the hang of popping heads without looking through the magnifying scope, a newly awakened desire to use the gun will appear.Don't strafe while firing the sniper. for consistant head shots you'll want to be standing completely still in Gears of War 3. of course, you don't want to be standing still for long periods, so practice stopping, letting the gun settle, hit LT and aim up the shot. when it's centered on the head and glowing red, let it go. 3 seconds...tops, or you're a liability to yourself and your own head.
The sniper active is the longest and is sometimes trouble. since it's a longer duration before the active mark, you've got some time to get to cover or at least concern yourself with your characters well being before you need to reload. don't bother looking up at the reload area, just concern yourself first with getting into cover, since you're in no great state to close range battle with your equipped gun.

Learn where weapons, power weapons and the paths most taken in each map are. Don't take those paths though, exploit them. Many inexperienced players will run straight for grenades power weapons without using cover properly. Take advantage of this!
Know where power weapons grenades are and obtain them before the enemy team. Control of these items will give your team a great advantage. Be careful though, the enemy team will be doing the same thing.Run ans stay down in the lower position. Follow the better players and those who need help and help them! Cover fallen allies or help them up. Don't just leave them to fend for themselves.This is part of being a team Roadie run and use cover to sneak behind the enemy team. Turn up behind your opponent and take them by surprise. Grenade tag people who club too closely together. This can potentially take out several targets at once. Especially if the whole team are camping in one place.
Shooting while the player is walking backwards is effective against people with their chainsaw .

Gears of War 3

Gears of War looks set to live up to all the expectations that have been piled upon it. Epic have stuck to a good formula of keeping what works and the core elements of gameplay, whilst simply tweaking and updating some features to make for an overall smoother and more enjoyable experience. That  plus the addition of a pile of new guns and enemies  should be enough to steer Gears of War 3 towards the heights of perfection, accumulating critical acclaim and large sales in the process; and after all, isn't that what it's all about?

Too long has the ardent Gears of War player had to deal with host advantages and while it was less prominent in the second iteration of the game it was still noticeable.
